ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reading and understanding customer's drawings
• Ensuring correct revision of customer's drawing is being used
• Properly using calipers, micrometers, Keyence, load tester, and optical comparator
• Back up machine Operator
• Understanding traveler within ERP System
• Inspecting parts to ensure conformity to customer's specifications
• Recording results of inspections on applicable documented information as required
• Working accordingly with production to do plant wide calibration of gauges
• Verifying conformity of product inprocess product as needed
• Releasing product for shipment
• Filling out Certificate of Compliance per customer's request
• Travel to customer sites to understand engineering and product requirements
• Work with Management to recommend corrective or preventative actions to improve quality
• Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas
• Assist with product tests to record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis
• Performs routine material testing and assistance in documenting materials
• Performs routine and repetitive work assisting the Director of Engineering in the accomplishment of various engineering projects

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Must have basic computer skills; Microsoft office

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram, and concrete variables.


Pay:
From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
