Mastercoil Spring is committed to being an innovative, world class manufacturer of springs for the global marketplace. We are looking for 1st shift and 2nd shift machine operator1st shift (600am - 230pm M-F)
2nd shift (200pm - 1030pm M-F)
Rate:
$16.00/hr
5% shift differential for 2nd shift
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Operate and monitor Wire Forming machines. Make adjustments as needed. Compression, extension, and torsion springs are manufactured, and job tasks include running orders with in-process inspection. Typical quantities manufactured are long run and high volume production.
ESSENCIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reading and understanding customer's drawing.
- Ensuring all necessary documented information is at each machine.
- Properly using and reading calipers and micrometer.
- Understanding job traveler from ERP System.
- Inspecting parts and making adjustments as needed.
- Effectively monitor production equipment.
- Maintaining product identification.
- Communicating effectively with other personnel.
- Documenting inprocess quality checks during shift.
- Documenting daily issues.
- Documenting daily shift count.
- Ability to use Micro-View (Optical Comparator).
- Ability to use load testers.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
- Following established safety rules.
- Performing appropriate duties as assigned by management.
Pay:
$16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
