- Working closely with Spiegelworld and resort partners to ensure an expertly coordinated launch of the restaurant.
- Writing and coordinating the creation of SOPs for the front of house and back of house activities to ensure all standards are being met and train staff appropriately.
- Overseeing all F&B operations for restaurant and theater, ensuring an integrated experience.
- Being visible in the restaurant operation, actively participating in service and daily operations.
- Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by building relationships with the guests (through table touches, greetings or warm farewells) and encourages employees to build relationships with the guests. Resolves customer complaints and/or service deficiencies by listening to the guest, responding with sincerity, and using appropriate service recovery tools.
- Uses tools such as Avero to analyze business trends and employee performance.
- In conjunction with the General Manager, develops ideas to maximize revenue and/or reduce expenses, outlining goals and objectives.
- Selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, and coaching all employees to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
- Actively developing the employees' Food & Beverage knowledge and instilling excitement and passion for food, beverage, and service in their team including conducting regular education sessions for staff on product and service.
- Manages and maintains CGS inventory.
- Ensuring all resources for an efficient operation are in place, directing routine inventories, conducting routine inspections of the restaurant.
- Performing pre- and post-service checks; ensuring subordinates are aware of daily specials, promotional offers, and VIP guests.
- Assisting in sales and marketing activities, conducting and evaluating routine sales data, and keeping abreast of F&B trends and new developments in the market.
- Actively engage in our antiracist commitment and internal practices by participating in offered learnings, engaging in conversations around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
- Being willing to create a one-of-a-kind night, setting an example for the rest of the staff to do the same.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurants with at least 3 years in restaurant management. A bachelor's degree in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management is desirable.
- Wealth of food and beverage experience in large restaurants and proven experience as a manager. Experience in the Las Vegasor nightlife market is a plus.
- Well-developed interest in food and beverage, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and staff.
- Hands-on experience and working knowledge of restaurant management software, like OpenTable, Resy, and SevenRooms.
- Proven people management, motivation, and development skills to be an inspirational leader to your team. Experience managing union staff is required.
- Preferred experience opening a restaurant or bar, including training and setting standards for staff as well as creating SOPs for front and back of house.
- Passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest standards consistently and ensuring that the guest is at the center of the experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an always changing, never dull, creative environment that creates memorable moments.
- Possesses excellent communication (written and verbal), financial acumen and business management abilities.
- Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have valid work authorization for the US.
- Work is performed in a high volume professional foodservice and theater environment.
- Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
- Able to work in a nightlife atmosphere with loud music, flashing lights, ability to climb stairs.

About the Role
Spiegelworld is looking for an experienced Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join the team at our brand new venue, Diner Ross, at the LINQ in Las Vegas. The AGM will be invited to participate in, influence and contribute to all areas of Spiegelworld's BEAF (Beverage, Entertainment, Art & Food) experience. The AGM is also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the outlet including, but not limited to employee relations and developing and implementing objectives in accordance with budgetary and service requirements. This position reports directly to the Restaurant General Manager. The salary for this role is $70,000/year.
