    DSP III-Lead PNMP Coordinator

    About the Job:
    This position is available for Morning, Evening, and Night shifts on multiple homes. The State Supported Living Centers provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Lead Physical Nutritional Management Plan Coordinator (PNMPC) is responsible for providing oversight and guidance to services related to physical and nutritional management, oral and enteral eating, positioning, mobility, and more. This role involves training, mentoring, and monitoring staff, ensuring the proper use of assistive equipment, and participating in various meetings and clinics.     Essential Job Functions:
    • Attends work regularly and may work different shifts as needed,
    • Supervises and trains direct support professionals,
    • Monitors PNMP programs and staff compliance,
    • Provides training and mentoring to new and existing staff,
    • Ensures effective communication between staff and therapists,
    • Assists in developing and maintaining PNMPs for individuals,
    • Ensures proper documentation and record-keeping, among others.

    Knowledge Skills Abilities:
    • Knowledge of rehabilitative programs for individuals with developmental disabilities,
    • Skills in training and coaching others,
    • Ability to follow oral and written instructions,
    • Ability to maintain rapport with coworkers and individuals served, and more.

    Initial Selection Criteria:
    Experience in direct care work, working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred. Prior experience in report writing is a plus.

    Additional Information:


    Applicants must pass various checks including background, drug screen, and registry checks. Flexibility in work hours is required, including weekends and holidays. All applicants must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment.

    Registration or Licensure Requirements:
    A valid Texas driver's license is required within 90 days of hire.
