    Job Summary


    The Planning Analyst is an integral role within the Planning Team with exposure to overall Company operations and senior management. This role reports directly to the VP of Strategic Planning.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Financial planning, forecasting and analysis, modeling, and budgeting.
    • Preparations of monthly financials and reporting for top management.
    • Involved in building Company's short and long-term goals and strategic objective.
    • Assist management with efforts to track and manage operational performance exposure; identifying, analyzing, and monitoring issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity.
    • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, identifying threats and opportunities.
    • Work with various departments, including Commercial, Operations and Logistics, performing detailed analysis including estimating market share, logistical opportunities, and others.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree Finance, Business, Engineering, or Accounting preferred.
    • Recent college graduate, and/or up to 3 years of professional experience.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated and desire to advance within the Company.
    • Business analytics preferred but not required.
    • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
    • Power BI or Tableau skills preferred.
    • Prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced and high-volume environment.
    • Strong sense of urgency, detail oriented and ability to drive results.
    • Accounting knowledge is a plus.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Ability to maintain and handle confidential information.

    Working Conditions

    • Capable to work extended hours as needed
    • Capable of working in an open concept office environment
    • Work may require limited travel and/or visiting operational sites as needed

    Physical Requirements

    • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
    • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
