    I'm partnering with a fast growing PE backed retail / e-commerce client to help them fill a newly created Finance & Accounting Manager role.

    This position will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the accounting department.

    This role will also be involved in FP&A and project work so is a great opportunity for an accountant to round out their resume by getting some good finance exposure.

    My client is a small, but growing business so they are looking for someone who enjoys the small company environment and someone who is okay with being a hands on manager.

    The CFO is amazing and really big on helping mentor her staff. These guys have an awesome culture and offer a hybrid schedule.
    Responsibilities

    Execute the period-end close process
    Responsible for forecasting and managing cash flow
    Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
    Provide financial analysis and reporting to executive leadership team
    Supervise staff responsible for A/P, A/R
    Participate in the annual financial planning and budget process
    Lead annual external audit process
    Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures
    Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
    Desired Skills and Experience

    5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
    Bachelors in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred
    Proven experience as a hands on leader
    Strong communication skills and relationship building
    Background in process improvement
    Small company experience. Enjoys small company dynamic
    Ability to work with autonomy in fast paced setting
