    About the Employer

    Hemet Unified School District is one of the largest geographic areas of any district in California. It covers over 650 square miles of very diverse topography; from valley flatlands to foothills to mountains. It serves a growing community with a current enrollment of nearly 21,000 students.

    Preschool centers at nine school locations, eleven elementary schools (K-5), three elementary/ middle schools (K-8), four middle schools (6-8), four comprehensive high schools (9-12), one continuation high school , a science-based charter Middle/High School (6-12), an Adult Education Center, Independent Study Programs, a Home School Program, and a self-paced online instruction program offer a wide variety of learning opportunities for students of all ages.

    Educational programs are designed to be flexible enough to provide a positive educational environment for all students, yet structured enough to ensure attainment of the California Content Standards and A-G requirements.

    Students also are encouraged to use whatever creative talents they possess. With the support of the community, school staffs have developed highly successful programs in music, agriculture, and athletics.

    POSITION INFORMATION:

    Position Title:
    Intensive Behavior Intervention Assistant (IBIA)

    Please note:
    These positions are District-Wide. The recommended applicant will be placed at Acacia Middle School.


    Total Vacancies:
    2 Work Hours/Days: 6.75 hours per day | Monday - Friday |
    Daily Work Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 4 p.m. (hours are subject to change due to site needs)

    School Session Salary:
    $ $25.39 per hour (Range 23) *Please Note: These positions are District-Wide, and placement is determined by site needs*APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS All of the following documents MUST be attached to your application: 1) Updated Resume (Detailed, updated resume (relevant to this position) and work experience information is REQUIRED, as it will be factored for the recruitment process and salary placement) Meet the requirements for the No Child Left Behind Act with possession of an AA degree or higher or pass the District No Child Left Behind assessment test. All applicants must complete the entire application including the required "Additional Questions." Failure to answer the additional questions will cause you to be screened out.


    SKILLS EXAM:
    Only the most qualified candidates who require a skills exam will be contacted to attend testing


    SKILLS ASSESSMENT WAIVER:

    Applicants wishing to waive the testing requirement for this position MUST attach the following to their application: Proof of Associate degree or higher degree (if the diploma is unavailable, transcripts clearly showing applicant name, school name, and date diploma/degree was awarded will be accepted.)
