GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Manager, Business Management is responsible for providing group level leadership and guidance to Sales and Production on decisions that have SAP, logistics, inventory, or profit impact.

This position will be responsible for reports and production control and ensuring monthly and quarterly P/L plans are met.

They will also be responsible for managing data for a wide range of operations tools ( booking, shipments, revenue, expenses, trading, raw materials etc.).


REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years recent experience managing accounting or operations team
5 years staff level experience with business control, operation reporting or accounting.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and implementing cost saving initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Business, International Business, or accounting
Intermediate level Excel skills
Ability to research using a wide variety of analytics
Ability to work well with other people, both internally and externally
Intermediate proficiency with SAP, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Word
Eligible to work in an ITAR environment


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors quality, quantity, cost, expenses, and efficiency of one or more production sites.
  • Manages cross functional team of business intelligence members. This includes data analysts, reporting, and business analysts.
  • Plans, coordinates, and manages the role up of sales and production monthly financial reports.
  • Utilizes SAP daily to provide clear direction on results and gaps for monthly financial goals.
  • Maintains business compliance manual and processes updates based on changes in company operations, product mix, and production site specific regulations for KC.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains daytoday operations designed to ensure the compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
  • Implements procedures for health and safety and P5S requirements to meet corporate goals.
  • Creates and manages departmental Hourly Efficiency (HE) reports for annual departmental budget.
  • Implements procedures for health and safety and P5S requirements to meet corporate goals.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains Standards and Standard Operating Procedures for department to include desk procedures, internet tracking tools, and physical inventories.
  • Monitors product transitions at each warehouse to ensure specific products are moved into and out of inventory as requested and transfers product between markets as necessary.
  • Works closely with production management, purchasing, and corporate offices in Japan for distribution, negotiation, and expense planning.
- provides leadership in ethical reporting and supports a wide variety of user questions to ensure general ledger and planning reports are consistent and accurate.
