    Sales Inventory Control Manager

    Description

    • Places new machine orders through the Caterpillar network.
    • Assist salesmen when they are looking for items on a particular machine model.
    • Assist salesmen /managers in searching for new machines from other Caterpillar dealerships and from the Caterpillar Machine Distribution Centers.
    • Update the Caterpillar Forecasting Tool.
    • Compiles New Machine Forecasting reports monthly and as needed.
    • Notify salesmen of any changes that occur with their machine or work tool.
    • Trades new machines with other Caterpillar dealerships.
    • Works with Caterpillar transportation and other transportation companies in getting the new equipment to the dealership.
    • Performs other duties as given by the Sales Operations Manager.
    • Keeping Safety First and Foremost, at work and at home.
    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree and/or 3 years of industry related experience.
    • Strong presentation, organizational and time management skills.
    • Advanced computing skills including Work Excel, Outlook, & DBS as well as working with the various Caterpillar sites (DPA, DOCS, MOCS, Mach1, Price Pages, etc.)
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with Salesmen/Mangers and other Caterpillar Dealership Inventory Managers.
    • Strong work ethic/motivation to meet Sales Department Goals/Objectives.
