Garden Home-Whitford is currently seeking a Java Developer with hybrid skills to join our team in Dresden.

We are a highly successful start-up based in Saxony, offering innovative and tailor-made solutions to help companies with their logistical challenges.

Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for talented Developers at all levels to join our Technical team and help us take our platform to the next level.


As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for implementing new features and enhancing our existing platform using advanced software development practices.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of leading technologies, with a preference for Java. You will also play a key role in the requirement engineering process, identifying and discussing new features and improvements. Knowledge of other programming languages such as C# and Typescript would be beneficial. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other teams to identify and resolve any production issues.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with Java and a strong programming background. Experience with enterprise stack, REST webservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and architectural patterns (microservices, message queues, integration) is highly desirable.

We are looking for someone with strong logical and abstract thinking skills, who is also a team player and can deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Good English skills and an engaging personality are also important, as well as a willingness to work with the latest technologies.
