DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


This position is pivotal for managing and coordinating the supply chain and strategic supplier management dimensions of our projects, with an additional emphasis on supporting new business pursuits.

Acting as the essential bridge among project management, senior management, and customer representatives, this role addresses supply chain operational challenges, scheduling demands, and budgeting concerns.

It is crucial for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with a focus on maximizing supply chain efficiencies, quality control, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires strategic oversight to address and resolve project-related challenges, aiming to improve production, quality, and customer engagement, typically by guiding subordinate staff, management, and cross-functional teams.

The responsibilities include devising systems for monitoring project advancement, enabling proactive intervention and problem-solving with project management, line management, and customers.

This role entails making impactful decisions that not only influence project outcomes but also steer the organization's strategic direction, especially in the realms of supply chain management and new business development.


  • Design and implement project plans focused on optimizing supply chain resources, ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and specifications, while also aligning with strategic goals for new business development.
  • Collaborate closely with management and project teams to ensure project goals are in sync with larger strategic business objectives, emphasizing supply chain optimization, strategic supplier partnerships, and the cultivation of new business opportunities.
  • Lead the monitoring of project schedules, timelines, and milestones from inception to completion, ensuring a strong alignment with supply chain efficiencies, strategic supplier management, and new business pursuits.
  • Guide the coordination of departmental and crossfunctional teams, focusing on tasks that deliver new or improved products and/or services, with a particular emphasis on engaging strategic suppliers and enhancing supply chain processes to support new business initiatives.
  • Offer leadership and direction to the project management staff, providing technical support and strategic insight, especially in areas related to supply chain strategies, strategic sourcing, and new business engagement.
  • Develop operating policies and procedures that directly influence supply chain strategies and project outcomes, interpreting broader company policies within the context of project execution and new business development.
  • Produce and disseminate progress reports, proposals, and requirements documentation, and present project status updates and supply chain strategies to stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for new business growth.
  • Engage with management and project teams to explore and capitalize on service expansion and new business opportunities, focusing on leveraging strategic supplier relationships and supply chain innovations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and other regulatory standards, particularly within supply chain operations, emphasizing the importance of sustainable and responsible sourcing strategies.
  • Proactively address project challenges by developing solutions aimed at enhancing productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction, with a keen focus on improving supply chain dynamics and supporting new business strategies.
  • Provide visionary leadership and guidance to project team members, articulating project objectives and expectations with an emphasis on the strategic importance of supply chain management, strategic supplier relations, and new business pursuits.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information, ensuring all business activities comply with legal, regulatory, and other obligations, particularly focusing on supply chain integrity and security in support of new business ventures.
  • Champion safety and adherence to established operating procedures and practices, especially within supply chain operations and strategic supplier dealings, ensuring a safe working environment that supports the organization's strategic goals and new business pursuits.
