We are looking for a driven, organized, and analytically minded Project Management Supervisor for the Business Product Solutions (BPS) group within the Mechanical Engineering Department of GA-ASI.

BPS is a multifaceted team with various responsibilities and skillsets which include engineering principals, project management, systems engineering, software development, data analysis, database administration and more.

As a supervisor in this group, you will need to have a strong working knowledge of all these aspects to help guide our engineering tools and processes.

Within this role they will have the opportunity to network with others, communicate regularly with leadership, help shape the goals of the group, and contribute to the creation of the tools.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and direct the work of a team and oversee their output for consistency and accuracy.
  • Providing team goals and vision and how they are applicable to individual goals.
  • Listen, gather input from employees, and help provide guidance and support for decisions.
  • Provide opportunities for training and personal development for employees.
  • Define individual accountability and milestones to meet project objectives.
  • Communicates performance expectations and helps to resolve problems encountered by the team.
  • Makes recommendations on human resources actions (e.g. staffing, training, compensation, etc.).
  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to the team and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap, setting clear priorities and timelines for product features and enhancements.
  • Oversee the gathering and documentation of business requirements, ensuring they are welldefined and understood by all stakeholders.
  • Regularly communicate progress, updates, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports.
  • Manage and monitor project schedule, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.
  • Assign and monitor work of analyst staff, providing technical support and direction when necessary.
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and nine or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least three of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets

Must possess:

the ability to initiate, plan and manage projects; the ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a wide range of complex issues; strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • Effective interpersonal and formal communication and presentation skills; ability to provide coaching and maintain open communication within the team and with other business areas.
  • Ability to guide and develop the team through effective feedback, recognition, skill assessment, and training.
  • Strong analytical background who can be a key contributor to the development of analytical tools, reports, and dashboard that empower users to make more intelligent decisions.
  • Experience in managing budgets and projects from estimation through to execution and completion.
  • Experience with creating dashboards and visualizations for general consumption (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following: SQL, Python, R, JavaScript, C#, VBA etc.

$81,190 - $145,338
