- Develop and deliver training courses to company and contracted employees
- Ensure classroom training records and documentation are current and accurate
- Provide training to essential maintenance providers and customer service personnel
- Perform the duties of a supervisor as directed by the Manager of Maintenance Training Job Qualifications and Competencies:
- Possess Airframe and Powerplant Certification
- Knowledgeable on the company's Policies & Procedures, Federal Regulations, and Safety requirements
- Comprehend and explain procedures and systems in concise verbal, written and multi-media formats relative to technical instruction
- Good written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Experience using and learning personal computer-based programs with skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently
- Possess a goal- and team-oriented attitude
- Three (3) years of experience in the maintenance of large aircraft, one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity or previous instructor experience Preferred Qualifications:
- Practical experience Embraer EMB-145 aircraft systems, structures, and avionics systems Work Environment:
- Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
- Extensive travel required for training assignments Physical Requirements:
- Moderate stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
- Long periods of standing and speaking
