Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Prepares source documents for computer entry by coding and sorting information, establishing entry priorities.

• Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by utilizing standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.

• Enters customer and account data by inputting information from source documents into prescribed computer databases, files and forms and ensures balancing accuracy.

• Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.

• Reconciles completed work for accuracy, scans documents into document management systems or databases and stores completed documents in designated locations.

• Responds to requests for information and access to relevant files.

• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

• Fosters a team mentality by contributing as needed in a small office environment.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma

• Formal computer training an advantage

• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook

• Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at required speed

• Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation

• Knowledge of clerical procedures and 10 key

Located conveniently near Peachtree Center, the position would be for someone to assist in the data processing of invoices/cash application in a fast paced, small business environment.
