Job Description:
Rockland Trust is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Credit Training Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our credit professionals.
The primary responsibilities of the individual will be to manage the daily operations of the Commercial Credit Department's highly visible and sought after training program and to be responsible for the development of Credit Analyst Trainees.
The Credit Training Manager will provide support to ensure a smooth workflow of loan requests appropriate for beginning analysts, and helping them form a network between the various areas of the Commercial Banking Division:e.g. Lenders, PM's, CLS's, Credit Administration, Real Estate Review, and Credit Operations.
They will provide training and guidance to credit analysts, and review analyses completed by analysts within the department for quality and accuracy of work produced.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the Commercial Credit Department's training program
Develop Credit Analyst Trainees
Ensure a smooth workflow of loan requests appropriate for beginning analysts
Help analysts form a network between various areas of the Commercial Banking Division
Provide training and guidance to credit analysts
Review analyses completed by analysts within the department for quality and accuracy of work produced
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in commercial credit training or management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and leadership abilities
