    We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our Human Resources team as a Benefits Specialist in San Francisco, CA.

    In this role, you will play a key part in managing our employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing expert guidance to employees.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.

    Oversee benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

    Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate assistance and resolution.


    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other relevant laws.

    Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and industry trends, and proactively assess the impact on benefits programs and policies.

    Coordinate with legal counsel and external consultants as needed to address compliance issues and implement necessary changes.


    Vendor Management and Relationship:
    Manage relationships with benefits vendors, carriers, brokers, and consultants, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.

    Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with benefits providers to optimize program offerings and control costs.

    Evaluate vendor performance and conduct regular reviews to assess service quality and address any issues or concerns.


    Develop and deliver educational materials, presentations, and training sessions to educate employees about their benefits options, coverage levels, and enrollment procedures.

    Communicate benefits-related updates, changes, and deadlines to employees through various channels, such as email, intranet, and employee meetings.

    Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends to assess program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, summarizing key metrics, trends, and insights related to employee benefits.

    Collaborate with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) team to ensure accuracy and integrity of benefits data.


    Qualifications:


    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SPHR) preferred.

    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in a financial services or related industry.

    Strong knowledge of employee benefits principles, regulations, and best practices.

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

    Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS/benefits administration software.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

    Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information.


    Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.

    Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.

    Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.


    Pay Details:
    $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
