    About The Lobby...
    The Lobby ) is a marketplace for brands and influencers to discover and collaborate with each other.

    Although launched just ~1 year ago, we've built a passionate community of thousands of influencers and enabled many of the most successful influencer programs for top brands like Ceremonia, Health-Ade, Magic Spoon, Jolie and Madewell.

    About the Opportunity...
    In 2024 we are kicking off an initiative to build large scale awareness of our influencer marketplace.

    To support that goal, we're looking to bring on a Comms & Community Manager to help us build awareness in our target brand and influencer communities.


    This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of PR/communications, community and content creation and collaborate directly with our CEO to develop, refine and execute a brand awareness strategy soup to nuts.

    Given the nature of the role, it is an ideal fit for a someone who is both creative and strategic – and excited to roll up their sleeves and get things done

    What you'll do...
    Develop brand awareness strategy
    Work closely with CEO to put together our strategy and plan to drive large scale general awareness of The Lobby
    Identify target publications and communities
    Research all the communities and publications that are relevant to our audience
    Create target lists of who we want to build relationships with and where we want to be talked about
    Build relationships with key communities and individuals
    Do personalized outreach to targets to build relationships
    Regularly contribute to key communities (offering helpful advice, sharing relevant content we've created, etc)
    Develop content strategy
    Work with CEO and our brand and influencer teams to put together a strategy and plan for the content we want to produce on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
    Manage content calendar
    Keep track of everything we are planning in our company content calendar and make sure it gets done
    Create content
    Write weekly update/announcement emails for our brand and influencer community
    Create (or repurpose content from our influencer community) to share on our IG and TT

    A to-do list annihilator – nothing gives you joy like crossing off your daily tasks
    Previous experience in a related role is a plus

    The Lobby is a female-founded, venture-backed startup.

    We are a small team (just ~10 of us) of people who are passionate about transforming the future of marketing by making influencer marketing as easy to scale as Google and Facebook ads.


    The Lobby is backed by First Round Capital, Uncork Capital, SV Angel and other top e-commerce investors (including early investors in Pinterest, Refinery29, Cuyana and The RealReal).


    Prior to COVID, the team worked in sunny San Francisco and enjoyed happy hours and strolls to our favorite sandwich shop in the city (always extra avocado).

    Since the pandemic, we've adapted to working remotely, though much of our team lives in the Bay Area and LA.
