    Description

    Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer

    Company: Imaging Center

    Location: New York, NY

    Description: Looking for a talented and certified Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer to join our team. The role involves performing general radiography tasks, ensuring top-notch imaging quality and patient care to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions using radiographic techniques.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Performing general radiographic procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
    • Preparing and positioning patients for imaging while prioritizing their comfort and safety.
    • Operating and maintaining radiographic equipment to ensure proper functionality.
    • Following safety protocols and standards to minimize radiation exposure.
    • Keeping accurate records of imaging procedures and patient data.
    • Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care.
    • Explaining procedures to patients and addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
    • Adhering to infection control and sterilization protocols.

    Requirements:

    • Experience: At least 1 year of general radiographer experience.
    • Education: Must hold a valid radiologic technologist license issued by the NYSDOH. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
    • Certifications & Licenses: Radiographer certification and Radiologic Technologist license.
    • Skills: Proficient in operating radiographic equipment, keen attention to detail, excellent English communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare team, strong interpersonal skills for compassionate patient care.

    Work Schedule:

    • Hours Per Week: 36.00
    • Hours Per Day: 12.00
    • Days Per Week: 3.00
