    Job Responsibilities:

    Comprehend the hospital and Radiology Department's mission.

    Execute prescribed radiological exams.

    Deliver patient-oriented service in CT, IR, MRI, OR, and X-ray as necessary.

    Administer contrast for contrast-enhanced studies in CT, IR, and MRI following protocol and workflow.

    Demonstrate proficiency in applying established procedures for patient identification.

    Familiarity with daily QA, QC phantom calibrations, imaging units, and equipment.

    Understanding of radiation safety protocols and the ALARA principle, integrating them into all radiology exams involving ionizing radiation.

    Preparation and sanitation of the examination area pre and post each patient.

    Identification of initial signs of medical emergencies and proper escalation procedures.

    • Completion of all other assigned tasks by the Supervisor or designee.

    All Radiologic Technologists in Assignment Levels II and III will receive an annual differential of $7,500 for cross-training on various radiologic imaging modalities and cross-assignment (once trained) to different imaging environments based on patient volume and facility staffing needs.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 1.Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH);
    • 2. One (1) year of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with Assignment Level I.
