Job SummaryThe Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in leading all aspects of kitchen operations while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for the staff and students at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA.You will prepare or direct the preparation of meals under corporate programs and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates activities of kitchen personnel engaged in the preparation of food serviceEnsures that high-quality food items are creatively prepared and presented in a cost-effective mannerAssists in all phases of planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparationSupports the management of cost controls and control expenditures for the accountRolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teamsSupervises co-workers to ensure the cleanliness, organization, and overall sanitation of the kitchenPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:B.S.
