Duties:


As a
Management Analyst, you will:


  • Conduct studies to identify and analyze conventional problems in regard to manpower, administrative, financial, budget, and cost matters.
  • Evaluate opportunities for improvements in management systems and presents recommendations for review and implementation.
  • Identify and develop data required for use in the management and direction of programs as they relate to resource management and administrative support operations. Survey, develop, analyze ,and assesses human resources targets, travel needs and provides cost data and other information for use in program planning and evaluations activities.
  • Assist in the development of plans, programs, and work analyses necessary to define, establish, and implement administrative control systems and work methods and procedures.
  • Prepare oral and written reports and presentations and prepares graphs and charts that present clearly, concisely, and effectively analytical results of evaluations and studies performed. Provide staff support for formal presentations.

Conditions of Employment:


The official duty station for this position will be in
Washington, District of Columbia. Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.


Key Requirements:


  • Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
  • Must successfully complete a background investigation.
  • Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency

Qualifications:


For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service.

Specialized experience for this position includes:


  • Utilizing qualitative or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program requirements, processes and systems;
    AND:
  • Assisting in interpreting and developing program policies;
    AND:
  • Advising internal stakeholders on training or employee development issues.

OR
A Ph.
D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.
D. or equivalent doctoral degree
-
OR
LL.M., or J.D. if related

OR
You may qualify by a combination of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience. Only graduate education in excess of the first 2 years may be combined with experience.

  • Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or
    volunteer service
    . One year of experience refers to fulltime work; parttime work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
