    Description

    NPJ Associates, is searching for a Tax Manager for a leading Metro NY CPA firm. Expertise in income tax planning, compliance, and consulting. Great growth opportunity

    Must Have:

    • CPA Certification.
    • 5+ years of current tax experience in a CPA firm.
    • Masters in Taxation a plus.
    • Proficency in ASC 740.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Review corporate, partnership, individual, trust and estate tax returns.
    • Review tax returns for accuracy, minimization of tax liability, available tax credits, tax provision.
    • Recommend tax strategies, plans and solutions to complex tax matters.
    • Review and prepare ASC 740 tax provision calculations.
    • Develop business by fostering client relationships, participating in community, business, and professional organizations.
    • Respond to client inquiries, IRS, state and local tax notices.
    • Supervise and mentor staff.
