    We are a dynamic transportation and logistics company, headquartered in Birmingham, AL, that is
    seeking a talented and analytical individual to join our team as a Revenue Analyst. As a Revenue Analyst, you
    will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our billing processes and revenue recognition,
    directly impacting the success and financial health of our organization. If you are someone who enjoys solving
    complex revenue and collection issues, has an acute attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and
    excels at leading a small team of billing specialists, we encourage you to apply.

    Responsibilities:

    Billing and Invoicing:

    • Generate and distribute invoices to customers in accordance with agreed-upon rates and terms.
    • Verify and ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing information, including services
    rendered, quantities, rates, discounts, and surcharges.

    Revenue Recognition:

    • Monitor and reconcile revenue streams to ensure accurate recognition and proper classification.
    • Collaborate with the accounting team to uphold adherence to accounting principles, revenue
    recognition policies, and industry regulations.

    Accounts Receivable Management:

    • Maintain precise records of customer payments, proactively follow up on overdue accounts, and
    promptly resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.


    • Coordinate and oversee the collection process as needed to ensure timely receipt of payments.

    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Compile and analyze revenue-related data to identify trends, providing valuable insights and
    recommendations to enhance revenue performance.


    • Prepare comprehensive reports for management to make informed decisions and identify
    opportunities for improvement.

    Documentation and Recordkeeping:

    • Keep organized and up-to-date records of billing and revenue-related documentation, including
    contracts, pricing agreements, customer information, and payment history.

    Customer Service:

    • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, operations, and customer service, to address
    customer inquiries related to billing, pricing, and revenue.


    • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving issues promptly and professionally.

    Process Improvement:

    • Continuously evaluate and streamline revenue processes, identifying opportunities for automation,
    standardization, and efficiency gains.


    • Participate in system enhancements and software implementations related to billing and revenue
    management.
