    Description

    PFM seeks an experienced Senior Analyst to work with our Treasury Consulting clients across the country in public sector, higher education, and healthcare institutions. Travel will be required as client needs dictate.

    Candidates will be expected to successfully operate in the specialized field of Treasury Consulting, and be nimble in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Senior Analyst must have a keen understanding of financial management, experience working in public sector or nonprofit treasury operations, advisory services, banking, and/or consulting.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities include the following:

    1. Client Consultation

    • Assess client treasury operations
    • Review pricing and services to make recommendations for operational enhancements to treasury operations
    • Advise on the use of banking services to meet current or future needs
    2. Client Engagement Support
    • Perform quantitative analysis using PFM tools and financial models to support a variety of treasury management client engagement types
    • Develop new tools and models to support more efficient treasury management client engagements
    • Drive completion of client engagement tasks with proactive client-follow up and project management
    • Interact with 3rd party treasury management service providers such as but not limited to banks and fintechs
    • Draft client facing documents such as assessments, RFPs drafts, negotiations, on behalf of clients for banking and related cash management services
    3. Marketing
    • Support sales and marketing efforts of the team including managing client records in CRM tool (Core, Microsoft Dynamics)
    • Facilitate marketing efforts by preparing sales decks and analysis statement reviews, creation of newsletters, drive social media presence.
    • Occasionally attend industry conferences and training events
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
    • Three to four years of relevant work experience, preferably in the public sector or nonprofit institutional consulting, treasury management, banking, trust or financial services arena(s)
    • Knowledgeable of a broad range of treasury and cash management areas, including account structure, cash concentration, collection/disbursement processes and services, fraud prevention tools, online reporting, banking technology, and other related services (e.g. merchant card processing, purchasing cards, institutional custody)
    • Excellent quantitative, problem solving, and analytical skills required
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
