Are you interested in working on an exciting project in social psychiatry and care in Germantown, MD?

We are currently looking for a Health and Care Assistant (m/f/d) for a residential care community, starting as soon as possible, to support individuals with mental illnesses (30 hours/week, permanent position).
The Rauhe Haus is a diakonia organization. We are close to the people and our actions are guided by the values of social work and diakonia. We are committed to innovative developments.

The social psychiatry division supports individuals with mental illnesses, while the care division provides care for individuals with care needs.

The residential care community in the Pergolenviertel combines both services in an outpatient living community. In addition, individuals are supported in their own apartments and other living communities as part of integration assistance.


Your profile

  • You have completed training as a Health and Care Assistant.
  • You have a passion and interest in providing care for individuals with mental illnesses.
  • You are excited to work in a team with different professions.
  • You are interested in supporting individuals in their living environment and accept different lifestyles.
  • You are interested in personal development.
  • You demonstrate reliable teamwork and good communication skills.
  • You have good MS Office skills.

Your tasks

  • You provide assistance with daily activities and document them.
  • You take on tasks related to the care of residents and basic nursing.
