- Conducts daily inspections and maintains safety documentation at the corporate and job site level.
- Conducts incident investigations and maintains OSHA 300 forms.
- Attends construction progress meetings.
- Maintains a tracking system to monitor identified deficiencies and implements plans to ensure resolution.
- Researches, analyzes, documents, and provides ongoing advice to site management to ensure all tasks are performed safely.
- Ensures subcontractor compliance with safety and health requirements.
- Schedules and executes safety training and tool talks.
- Conducts business with 100% integrity and professionalism.
- 2 years of Safety Management experience required.
- Experience in heavy civil construction industry a plus.
- OSHA 500 Trainer
- HAZMAT 40
- SST 62
- Confined space experience preferred.
- CHST
- 40 Site Safety Managers Class.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to form excellent working relationships with all levels of employment.

- Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

This role will interact with a variety of staff at all levels and uphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This position is located out of our regional office in Alvarado, Texas.
