Production Manager:

The role of Production Manager involves a variety of responsibilities. Here are the key tasks:

Pre Production & Inventory Distribution:

Establish and maintain an annual pre-production and production schedule to ensure timely line openings and deliveries.
Collaborate closely with various departments like Design, Fabric purchasing, Merchandising, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure effective communication and shared knowledge.
Manage fabric purchase orders and tracking, ensuring timely delivery and communication of any delays.
Track fabric usage, yields, and inventory levels accurately.
Conduct seasonal sales analysis to determine optimal fabric procurement.
Work with the CEO to develop and monitor the Buy Plan for each season.
Coordinate production schedules and share them with relevant teams.
Supervise sample production timelines for special projects.
Ensure timely grading and marking of patterns.
Coordinate the distribution of production to designated locations.
Organize travel lines to represent various styles, colors, and sizes.

Production:

Establish and maintain an annual pre-production and production calendar to ensure timely deliveries.
Monitor the Buy Plan for each season.
Thoroughly inspect fabrics prior to cutting.
Source and assess new factories to meet production needs.
Manage WIP inventory and oversee production deliveries.
Negotiate production costs and create cost sheets.
Maintain Quality Control systems and reports.
Ensure overall product quality.
Schedule garment production and factory loading efficiently.
Conduct factory visits for quality assurance.
Address quality issues promptly and handle customer complaints.
Explore sourcing opportunities in Asia for specific categories.

Customer Service:

Ensure timely order processing and shipping.
Allocate orders from the warehouse promptly.
Manage special orders and deliveries.
Provide necessary reports to Sales consultants.
Monitor open pick tickets and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Management:

Recruit, train, and develop a competent production team within budget constraints.
Proficient in Excel for generating production reports.
Supervise the relationships with warehouse operations.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 per annum
