    We're seeking a Community Manager for a full-time role at Moonrise Decatur. As Community Manager, you will manage daily operations for the space, answer phone calls and emails, and keep everything looking and running at a high standard.

    • Thrives on connecting people, resources, and ideas.
    • Believes the best way to sell is to be truthful, positive, and service-oriented.
    • Relishes the owner mentality - rolls up sleeves, cleans, answers calls, no job too small.

    Expectations and responsibilities:
    • Manage building operations for the space, including materials, maintenance, storage, and vendors.
    • Answer phone calls and emails.
    • Manage scheduling for staff.
    • Keep our plants and animals alive and thriving.
    • Schedule repairs and maintenance when needed.
    • Manage inventory and order new materials.
    • Keep Moonrise clean and tidy, inside and out.
    • Communicate and build relationships with members.
    • Know every member by name.
    • Greet everyone with a smile.
    • Think of new ways to improve our member experience (for example: should we offer coffee to parents on a tour?).
    • Answer the door and sign members in and out.

    About the job:
    • 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday.
    • Starting salary is $42,000 per year.
    • Monthly staff dinners included.
    • Mentorship and support from the leadership team.
    • Priority consideration for future Community Lead roles (running your own Moonrise).
    • Must have experience working with kids.
    • Background check required.
