- Prepare and organize samples for experimentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
- Maintain an organized inventory of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment. Assist in ordering and restocking as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Ensure a clean and safe working environment. Dispose of hazardous materials according to established procedures.
- Participate in the assembly and preparation of clinical trial kits, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation. Collaborate with the project management team and lab leadership team to meet project timelines.
- Creation of custom reagent kits
- Receive, log, and process incoming samples. Ensure proper documentation and storage of samples following established procedures.
- Work closely with project management, laboratory leaders and technologists, and sample management
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in science or laboratory techniques is a plus. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of scientific principles and laboratory procedures.
- Experience with clinical trial kitting and sample receipt processes is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Frontage operates out of several different locations within the USA, Canada, and China. Frontage's core competencies include drug metabolism, pharmokinetics/ pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials.

PURPOSE:
The Lab Assistant will work under the supervision of laboratory staff or researchers to assist in the smooth functioning of laboratory operations. This role involves a combination of technical and administrative tasks to support ongoing laboratory activities and required documentation. Additionally, the Lab Assistant will provide crucial support for clinical trial kitting activities and sample receipt.
