    Description

    Senior Licensed Practical Nurse

    The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) is currently seeking a Senior Licensed Practical Nurse to work at Tacachale in Gainesville, FL. Join the team that truly makes a difference in the lives of developmentally disabled adults.

    Salary Range

    • Years of Experience
    • Bi-Weekly Salary
    • Annual Salary
    • 0-3.9 yrs - $1,761.95 - $45,810.79
    • 4-6.9 yrs - $1,822.02 - $47,672.53
    • 7-9.9 yrs - $1,882.09 - $48,934.26
    • 10+ Years - $1,938.15 - $50,391.87

    Responsibilities

    • Nursing duties including administering medications, observing responses, and providing emergency care
    • Incident management procedures
    • Administrative tasks such as monitoring service objectives and attending meetings and training

    Requirements

    • Valid Florida Driver's License
    • Certification in Prevention and Safety Strategies, CPR, and Direct Care In-Service
    • Current Licensed Practical Nurse license

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Understanding of nursing principles, human anatomy, and physiology
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, provide emergency care, and maintain effective relationships

    Additional Information
