- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software requirements for new shipboard products
- Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
- Provide technical evaluation of hardware/software based on technical requirements.
- Provide expertise with operating system installation and setup (Windows and Linux)
- Setup and test Virtual Machine environments.
- Deploy software and firmware updates to various hardware devices
- Perform quality assurance testing of hardware and software components
- Stay updated on the latest security standards and apply them diligently
- BS Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years professional experience in Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering related field.
- One of the following certifications: CISSP (or associate), CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH.
- Demonstrated ability to write computer code (object-oriented programming)
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux Operating Systems, including the installation and configuring of software applications.
- Proficient with Communication Protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, etc.)
- Skilled with Virtual Machine (VM) setup and management.
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance
- Prior US Navy experience desired.
- Experience with DOD Cyber Security protocols

This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new long-term program and help develop the program's I/T requirements; providing system development from project start and the design phase
The candidate's responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Candidates should be familiar with various OO languages such as .Net, Python, JAVA and/or C/C++.
This will be a hybrid position and while you will not be required to be in the office on a set basis you should be local to come in quickly as the need arises

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status
Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours
The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees
Posted Salary Range USD $74, USD $130,400.00 /Yr
