- Performs advanced engineering work concerned with the design, evaluation, testing and operation of US Navy shipboard electrical power and propulsion systems.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Participates in setting up and conducting laboratory and field testing to include developing test methodologies, test planning and execution, related instrumentation and sensors, and data analysis.
- Develop mathematical models of power systems, propulsion systems, control systems, and networks are desired.

- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical\Mechanical\Computer Engineering
- 3+ years of related engineering experience using Matlab/Simulink or equivalent to support modeling and simulation of navy shipboard power and machinery systems
- Advanced knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques
- Advanced knowledge of modeling and simulation of Naval Power Systems, Propulsion systems and associated hardware, software, and equipment
- Knowledge of developing mathematical models utilizing Matlab/Simulink
- Candidate must possess or have capability of acquiring a DoD Secret security clearance Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of C++, Java, C, Python and/or Object Oriented Programming
- Knowledge of Diesel Engines, Generators, Physics, PID controllers, Hardware Design

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status
Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours
The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees
