    Job Description Job Description Summary:
    This position is responsible for overseeing adherence of the Banks policies and procedures to federal and state laws and regulations

    Saray Range:

    The salary range in CA for this role is $62,800 to $87,900 and represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting.

    The actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

    The Company also offers a full range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K match. Other rewards may include annual performance-based bonuses and wellness days.
    Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a First Foundation Inc. position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of an Employment Visa.


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    Understands and complies with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the positionArrange and perform periodic monitoring and compliance reviews; prepare reports of findings.

    This also entails review of the Banks policies and procedures to ensure they conform to regulatory and legislative requirements; recommend revisions as necessary.

    Monitor and evaluate pending legislative and regulatory changes related to the Banks lending and retail operationsStay abreast of changes to federal and state banking laws and regulations affecting the management, operations, and product offerings of the BankConsult with and advise managers affected by compliance issues and regulatory requirementsServe as a compliance and information resource for the business units, including researching issues and responding to their inquiriesReview various disclosures and provide feedback to applicable business unitsDisseminate information regarding new or amended regulations to appropriate personnelReview and evaluate new Bank services, forms, and products for compliance with applicable lawReview and approve the Banks advertising for compliance with applicable lawAssist during compliance examinations by regulatory agencies and third-party compliance vendors.

    Follow up and resolve any cited deficiencies reported during the course of the examination or violations and deficiencies noted in the final reportAttend seminars, workshops, and conferences to maintain and expand knowledge of compliance requirementsSupport the Bank's compliance-related programs, such as compliance trainingPerform other duties as assignedQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    Education and/or Experience:
    Bachelors degree or work experience equivalentMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience in bank compliance and/or risk managementSkills:Ability to read, accurately interpret, and communicate in an understandable format federal and state regulatory requirementsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and follow upStrong analytical and research skillsOrganizational and time management proficiencies
