- Utilizing planning and organizational skills in coordination of the shipping team to effectively maximize their time as it applies to shipping and staging of all outbound shipments
- Overseeing the daily activities of the warehouse area of responsibility, including labor scheduling, supervision and proper utilization of space and equipment and organized, clean building appearance.
- Planning distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling, maintenance and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Interacting with administrative and management staff to facilitate inventory control, shipping and receiving process changes and improvements
- Ensuring documentation for all shipments is completed accurately and timely according to respective government regulations, company policy, and customer specifications
- Leading and participates in Quarterly inventory process
- Responsible for ordering granules, wrappers and fiberglass in support of Production
- 5 - 8 years Shipping supervisory or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Proficiency in the use of computers and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, supervisors, and managers using both verbal and written communication
- Must be in good standing (i.e., no performance or attendance issues)
- Walking, standing, driving and sitting (up to 80% of shift) is required.
- Must be able to see and hear
- Must be able to speak, write and comprehend English
