- Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands
- Meets all applicable credentialing requirements outlined in the local military treatment facility guidelines and be fully qualified to perform within the scope of their practice
- Practice will require clinical privileges at the host Military Treatment Facility
- Ability to observe and participate in squadron activities to identify psychosocial stressors and barriers to optimal human performance
- Ability to provide psychological consultation, education, and training to military medical professionals and military leaders, and facilitate referrals to military or communitybased human service agencies and resources
- Skill to develop and implement initiatives to mitigate psychosocial stressors and risks and optimize airmen performance

The primary purpose of this position is to provide a full range of professional social work services within an operational Air Force squadron.
The incumbent serves as a member of a multidisciplinary Operational Support Team with the goal of building resiliency, enhancing human performance, and improving unit mission effectiveness.
