    Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) Advanced Programs (AP) is seeking a Cyber Architect Principal Investigator responsible for leading cyber security projects.

    Candidates should be experienced in research, development, and transition of advanced technology development programs within the Department of Defense (DoD) for embedded cyber (i.e.

    securing systems/software), hardware (i.e. trust/assured microelectronics), or product security (i.e. red teaming, penetration testing, and program assessments of DoD weapon systems).

    The ideal candidate is an established cyber security expert with an entrepreneurial streak who has experience working Government Contract Research & Development (CRAD) programs.

    Roles and responsibilities include performing on advanced programs, leading technology development teams, developing security solutions/technologies, and supporting customer needs.

    A successful candidate will work effectively throughout the Lockheed Martin organization, both vertically and horizontally, to build strong working team relationships in the advancement of cyber resilient systems.

    You will demonstrate a strong ability to work across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions and lead technical teams in the development of advanced security solutions.

    This position may be eligible for the Cyber Compensation Plan (CCP) providing an opportunity to receive additional compensation for performance measured against individual goals.

    Basic Qualifications:


    • Demonstrated Government R&D experience for cyber technologies/research areas such as: embedded cyber resilient systems, software assurance, weapon system cyber vulnerability assessments, and other technologies.
    • A subject matter expert having demonstrated cyber technical skills on Government programs from early concept/vulnerability identification, thru development/prototyping, and then the integration into product lines.
    • Bachelor's degree in cyber security, software/systems engineering, or computer science.
    • Active secret clearance.

    • Demonstrated capture and program management for Contract Research and Development (CRAD).
    • Experienced in DoD advanced technology development and demonstration programs.
    • An independent worker with a successful track record of delivering high-quality contract deliverables that met or exceeded customer expectations.
    • Team player – Builds effective customer, team, and partner relationships. Effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of managers and engineers to act as "one" in the pursuit of common. objectives. Demonstrated ability to negotiate to a positive outcome with multiple stakeholders.
    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Secret

    Remote Telework:

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
