Scope of Services
To obtain highly skilled individual with Inventory/Procurement/Administration experience.
The Inventory role is dedicated to overseeing and managing the inventory management process for all IT Equipment from receiving to surplus.
This individual would be responsible for accepting deliveries, verifying the deliveries against the purchase order, asset management using barcodes and Excel spreadsheets, and equipment handover to the IT Managers and Technicians.
This includes actively being engaged in the order and delivery process and maintaining the inventory storage space. This individual would also organize the inventory storage space and coordinate disposal of surplus equipment.The Procurement role is dedicated to processing procurement orders for the IT group.
This individual would be responsible for adhering to the City of Atlanta procurement policies and selecting the appropriate procurement method for each procurement.
This includes contacting vendors, requesting quotes and required documentation, entering purchase requisitions, and obtaining purchase orders.The Administration role is dedicated to office management. This includes the variety of tasks needed to keep the office running smoothly.
Other responsibilities include assisting with the budget analysis and budget forecasting.
Qualifications
Requires a BS in business administration, logistics, computer science, information technology, etc. or 3-5 years of experience working in inventory or asset management, or purchasing or contract administration
