    TITLE: Senior Manager (Application Specialist)

    DUTIES:
    • Act as a developer for the Locates processing team, focusing on short-selling pre-trade approval requests
    • Work on time-bound projects independently or as part of a team
    • Collaborate with vendors to design solutions for the Locates platform
    • Engage extensively with the product development group and business units in Toronto, New York, and London
    • Show advanced expertise in software development
    • Execute Java/J2EE-based system development tasks for the Locates Management platform
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to create and implement solutions for the Locates platform
    • Provide second-level support to support teams
    • Conduct unit testing to ensure quality before user acceptance testing
    • Implement approved changes into production following change release management procedures and offer post-release support
    • Analyze deliverables according to business requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly
    • Work closely with the business administration and quality assurance teams during system testing

    REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
    Ten years of progressive experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA), web services development, design patterns, Java programming, and Oracle database technologies
    Experience in Agile and SDLC methodologies for software development and production releases
    The salary offered ranges from $169,229 to $169,229 per year for a 40-hour workweek
    Possible telecommuting or remote work as per company policies when applicable; otherwise, onsite work required
    Alternatively, a Master's degree with eight years of relevant experience will be considered
