Progression through the program is expected to take nine to twelve months. #The Academy experience includes:

Required:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Degree program. Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire or within#2 weeks after hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within one (1) year of the hire date, if deemed necessary for the position based on the scope of the assigned role.
# IF HIRED OR LICENSED AFTER 1/1/2017:#MUST complete BSN (Bachelors in Nursing within 8 years of hire date into the Registered Nurse position)# Preferred:
