About The Role:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, modifying and acquiring equipment and tooling in a fast paced, high volume assembly and manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions using knowledge gained in manufacturing environment and engineering discipline. Capability to troubleshoot electrical wiring. Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems on equipment. Evaluate equipment malfunctions with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime. Modify equipment as necessary to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability. Provide Support in the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment and assist with major overhauls, etc. Equipment includes but not limited to, production machinery and support equipment.

Ability to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic systems and equipment used in industrial manufacturing to include maintaining electronic systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Performs other duties as assigned.

Role Purpose:
This position will be direct support to the Indianapolis assembly and fabrication lines.
Responsible for the equipment uptime for assigned department.
Ensure the use of the Carrier Excellence tools in increasing attainment for production equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

Associates degree in Robotics, Automations, Controls, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering3+ years' experience in the troubleshooting and maintenance of manufacturing equipment #LI-onsiteRSRCARCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
