The Impact Youll Make in this RoleThe person hired for the position of Manufacturing Engineer will have the opportunity to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality throughout the entire facility.

+ Leading projects to improve reliability and cost across multiple departments

+ Driving improvements plantwide through a Continuous Improvement mindset

+ Implementing Six Sigma and Lean principles within all departments

+ Identifying and supporting the installation of new technologies throughout the facility

+ Mentoring and coaching Engineers, Supervisors, and project leaders

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.

+ Five (5) combined years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Product Process Engineering in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

+ Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineer, Materials Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution

+ Experience working in a manufacturing setting and pace

+ Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, and Continuous Improvement methodologies

+ Demonstrated experience to analyze problems, diagnose root cause, and apply corrective actions

+ Experience in reliability engineering

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic or international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidates relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
