    Our client located in Tampa, Florida seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 2+ years of civil litigation experience to join their legal team. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and assisting with various legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual looking to grow their career in the legal field. Hybrid/remote

    Duties:
    - Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
    - Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs and reports
    - Handle defense of civil litigation matters from the initial stages to final resolution. Including investigation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

    Assist with case management and preparation for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
    - Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice
    - Represent clients in depositions, mediations and court proceedings
    - Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
    - Attend client meetings and communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress

    Qualifications:
    - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
    - Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida
    - 2+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on insurance defense matters or other civil litigation.

    Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
    - Proficient in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
    - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
