Patient Services Representative - Wellesley, United States - Boston Vision
Description
Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, the primary focus of this position is to coordinate and facilitate our patients visit to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided.
This role will be working independently as part of a smaller team so you must be strong and confident in that environment.
This role requires individuals to be self-motivated, have a high-level of empathy and able to problem solve efficiently. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Schedule is Monday-Friday, variation of 8:00am-5:00pm, depending on the needs of the clinic. This position may require travel to our other clinics on an as needed basis.Essential Functions:

Greet and welcome all patients upon arrivalCheck them in, verify personal information (name, address, insurance)
Must be detail oriented and able to multitaskBe an advocate for our patients as well as our practiceTake and balance copays and batches Maintain a clean and organized workstationMaintain a current understanding of insurancesProcess mail, faxes and scansOther Responsibilities:
