The Directorate for Hazard Prevention/Emergency Response and Command and Control is currently seeking to fill the following permanent full-time position at the earliest possible date:
Officer (m/f/d) for Security in Operations through Open-Source Intelligence in Command and Control Centers (SENTINEL) / OSINT Research

The employment relationship is subject to the Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the Federal States (TV-L). The salary is based on pay group 11 TV-L.

General Information

The Herford County Police Authority is responsible for the entire Herford district with approximately 251,000 inhabitants in 9 municipalities, covering a total area of 450 km2.

The Directorate for Hazard Prevention/Emergency Response and Command and Control/Control Center is responsible for, among other things:

Receiving emergency calls and handling resulting operations
Coordinating resources for everyday operations
Taking over the leadership of larger operations
Data queries as part of resource activities
Processing electronic mail after regular office hours

Formal Requirements

Bachelor's degree (Diplom DI, FH or BA) in the field of data science, data science, computer science, statistics or mathematics and qualification as a data scientist
