With the DAAD-funded university-wide project COILintensify, the International Office continues the predecessor project "HRWgoesCOIL". COIL stands for "Collaborative Online International Learning". The International Office supports the departments of HRW in the development and sustainability of their international, virtual teaching projects.

The International Office, part of the Department of Student Services & International Affairs, is responsible for the strategic development of university internationalization, the implementation of mobility programs such as Erasmus+, and the support of international students.
