COMPANY AND POSITION OVERVIEW
Do you eat, breathe, and live theatre? Have a passion for Hosting?

Major Broadway theatre owner-operator is seeking enthusiastic
_Hosts/Runners_ with a love for theatre.

You will be greeting and escorting guests to their stage side tables in the orchestra and VIP levels.

Monitor the dining, lounge areas and all staff, maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining or lounge areas to ensure guest satisfaction, monitor lounge lines and provide guest service in accordance with ATG Entertainment Core Values and Commitments.

You will be a team player and assume the role of runner when circumstances require to ensure guest service levels are maintained.

You will be joining a high-energy, detail focused team that plays a vital role in keeping one of our five theatres (the St. James, the Al Hirschfeld, the August Wilson, the Eugene O'Neill, the Walter Kerr) and the attractions playing there running safely and smoothly.

You will work inside a collaborative, respectful, and driven company that is focused on providing the best experience for theatregoers and theatre-makers on Broadway.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of food and sanitation standards desirable
  • Ability to walk up and down flights of stairs and stand for the duration of a shift
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs.

  • You are flexible and respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations.
  • You can effectively deal with colleagues and team members, which will sometimes require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.

  • You are a highly resourceful teamplayer who can take direction but can also take initiative and work independently on projects from conception to completion.
  • You can demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive and respectful working and learning environment.

BONUS SKILLS IF YOU HAVE THEM
Previous experience as a Host in a cocktail bar environment

Food handlers certified

Bilingual is a plus


JOB HOURS
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

$19 per hour
