To make informed decisions, one needs the advice of experts. The Medical Service Lower Saxony is the medical and nursing advisory and assessment service.

In accordance with legal requirements, we support and advise the statutory health insurance and social care insurance with around 1,200 colleagues at 13 locations in medical and nursing matters, working every day for the approximately 7.1 million insured persons in Lower Saxony.

For the area of corporate development, we are looking for a

Project Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on IT

Full-time (38.5 hours per week) / initially limited until , with the possibility of extension


You will initiate and lead IT projects, particularly those related to digitization and IT strategy, making a valuable contribution to the implementation of our strategy.

These are your tasks

You will lead projects according to our internal project standards and develop measures to optimize the organizational structure and processes, including the perspective of implementing an IT industry solution.

You will plan, manage, and accompany IT projects or support IT sub-projects at the interface to the IT department.
You will conduct project-specific controlling according to the guidelines of the Project Management Office.
You will support the management team of the IT department in prioritizing, initiating, coordinating, and implementing internal and cross-departmental projects
