We are looking for a highly qualified individual to take on the role of Principal Deputy Chief in our Programs Department. Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the chosen candidate will have a crucial role in leading the planning, policy development, and management of contracts and grants within our organization. Project Background
The Gateway Program is a crucial infrastructure initiative that aims to enhance rail services and capacity between Newark, New Jersey, and New York City. This project is essential for the region's economic growth and resiliency, especially considering the high volume of daily passenger trips on this rail corridor.
The first phase of the Gateway Program includes the Hudson Tunnel Project, which involves the construction of a new rail tunnel under the Hudson River and the rehabilitation of an existing tunnel. This project will enhance operational flexibility and prepare the region for future challenges.
The Gateway Development Commission is overseeing the financing and development of the Hudson Tunnel Project in partnership with key stakeholders.
