**The forward-thinking and owner-managed service company with currently around 200 employees is based in Dresden. Since its founding, the company has become a strong partner in the field of environmental services and recycling, with a focus on sustainable use of resources.


We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time
Head of Dispatch (m/f/d) to join our team in Dresden as soon as possible.


Your responsibilities:


  • As a member of the management team, you will take on the conceptual, technical and disciplinary leadership of the dispatch team and create space for targeted development of employees.
  • You will be responsible for organizing and managing the department to ensure timely processing of orders in close cooperation with our customers and business partners.
  • You will support the operational daytoday business in terms of calculating offers, postcalculation and invoice verification, as well as in scheduling and monitoring.
  • You will develop a strategic transport management and control based on logistical key figures.
  • You will ensure compliance with relevant legal regulations for the logistics sector.
  • You will support internal projects with your expertise.

Our requirements:


  • You have a degree in business administration or a relevant field, as well as relevant professional experience in logistics/dispatch.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of the waste management industry and vehicle/body technology.
  • You have a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, as well as a systematic, goaloriented and resultsdriven approach.
