    Description

    Job Title: Snowflake Developer

    Location: San Jose, CA

    Job Description:

    As a Snowflake Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Snowflake data solutions to support our organization's data analytics and reporting needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement Snowflake data models, including tables, schemas, views, and stored procedures.
    • Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake from various sources such as databases, APIs, and flat files.
    • Optimize Snowflake performance by tuning queries, analyzing execution plans, and implementing best practices.
    • Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
    • Create and maintain documentation for data solutions, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and technical specifications.
    • Stay current with Snowflake features, updates, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • [10+] years of experience working with Snowflake data platform.
    • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and development.
    • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
    • Experience with ETL tools and processes, such as Informatica, Talend, or Matillion.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Snowflake certification(s) a plus.
